Later, under the leadership of Billy Walker, the distillery developed first into a well kept secret, then into an iconic brand. Glendronach's single malts, matured entirely in Spanish sherry casks, are particularly popular. Glendronach 21 years matured for the entire time in former Oloroso and PX sherry casks. Bottled with 48% alcohol by
