all wrapped in a linear finish where the supporting tannins appear to be riper

Francesco Versio, Barbaresco other_regions_italy tobacco and licoriceNeive. Tasted blind. Deep, lustrous ruby. Deep, aromatic cherry fruit nose and plenty of fragrant sweet cherry on the palate. Very embryonic and long and with lots of chewy tannins and succulent acidity. Concentrated and yet elegantly built. (WS)
