The 2004 Cristal is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay

this may be the most under rated wine in the de Montille portfolio with its ripe

de Montille, Corton Clos Roi Vintage:2017 The 2004 Cristal is 60%Here the nose is more deeply pitched with notes of earth, game, smoke and underbrush adding interest to the briar and red berry fruit aromas that lead to serious, brooding and reserved big bodied flavors that are underpinned by firm but not aggressive tannins and excellent length. There is slightly more depth here than in the Pougets though its less fine as well. A stylistic choice. (91 93) 2017+
